Two things in Paris that just aren’t working for me lately: wifi and the weather. I’m not going to be a Debbie Downer and fire complaints but I just really want to blog when and where I want and enjoy some sunshine, too. Tant pis…things could be worse.

Since my time en ligne is limited, I’ll be switching things up on the blog. Posts will now feature less text and more food porn. Ooh la la! I mean that’s the point anyway, right? You don’t have all day to read about food, you just want to drool at it…

I’ve raved and raved about the éclairs from Éclair de Genie, and now I bring you another cream-filled confection that I’ve recently found in Paris: cream puffs, or choux à la crème from Popelini. The first time I visited the popular Marais pâtisserie there were only crumbs left on the shelf – they had already been cleared out for the day! Alas, I returned when Christie was visiting Paris a few weeks ago and got my fix of a caramel au beurre salé cream puff. Small but mighty, these sweet treats will satisfy your sweet tooth in one fell bite.
