Pear, Walnut & Ricotta Crostini

I haven’t been cooking much this summer so I was excited to finally contribute to a cookout with friends last week. I dug into my “Recipes/Must Make” board on Pinterest for appetizer inspiration and decided to make this simple crostini recipe. Voilà

Pear, Walnut & Ricotta Crostini

Pear, Walnut & Ricotta Crostini:


  • Part-skim ricotta cheese
  • Thinly sliced pear
  • Walnut pieces
  • Salt and pepper
  • Honey
  • Baguette


  1. Slice baguette and toast in oven until desired “toastiness”
  2. Dollop ricotta cheese onto crostini
  3. Top each piece with desired about of pear slices and walnuts
  4. Season with salt and pepper
  5. Drizzle with honey
  6. Serve and enjoy!
